This Wednesday I provide you with a comic that came to me when I was uninspired, and wondering what I could possibly create by Wednesday. I thought, what can I do to get the creative juices flowing? And then I thought literally, creative juices. Suddenly I had images of an orange juice carton painting, a cranberry writer, and an apple photographer. I had other ideas as well (a grape drummer, a tomato actor, etc.), but there's only so much you can design in one week.
Luckily for me, thinking in a literal manner gave me a way to generate new ideas. What other tips/tricks do you have to inspire creative thinking? Writer's block can occur in all creative spectra and is something I struggle with routinely. My best tip? Get out of the house, go somewhere new, and drink fantastic coffee. Even if it's only the latter, I guarantee even the tiniest bit of success. :)
