This summer I visited Longwood Gardens, a public garden founded by Pierre S. du Pont, an American entrepreneur best known for his success at DuPont and General Motors.
During my visit, I found that a lot of nature in itself is design. There was a natural pattern, symmetry, and beauty manifested in all of the flowers I photographed. Even the vibrancy of color at times made me think of someone taking a marker to produce such vivid hues.
Later in the day, I found many beautiful pieces of craftsmanship. The amount of detail given to all of these metal works is breathtaking.
